Bitvavo vs Bit2Me: two books and a Wallet.

Both publish maker and taker for euro trading. Bit2Me also has a Wallet with another percentage. Platform authorisation is recorded only for Bitvavo.

For an order on the book

At the starting tier, Bitvavo charges 0.15% maker and 0.25% taker on the ordinary EUR market. Bit2Me Pro, from €0 to €2,000 and without Space Center, charges 0.5% and 0.6% on crypto/euro pairs. If the order matches immediately, compare taker with taker. Space Center can lower Bit2Me’s figure; this page does not apply that discount.

ESMA authorises Bitvavo to operate a platform. Bit2Me’s row does not include that service, even though Pro talks about maker and taker. The lower figure does not turn one product into the other.

If the purchase is in the Wallet

Bit2Me’s Wallet, at level 0, charges 0.95% for a purchase, sale and exchange. A direct euro purchase may add 1.99%. That figure is not compared with Bitvavo’s 0.25%: they are different modes. Bitvavo, in this comparison, contributes the book, not an equivalent quoted purchase.

For taking euros out

Bitvavo says withdrawing euros has no fee of its own. Bit2Me says the same for a bank transfer, with a €10 minimum. The bank may charge separately in both cases. Bit2Me adds €10 per month if the account becomes inactive under its limits page.

What to look at first

If you will rest an order on the book, start with the taker and with whether your country is on both onboarding lists. If you will buy in the Wallet, use 0.95% and the possible 1.99%, not Pro’s rank. Neither figure is a safety score.
