From 5 October 2026 at 11:00 UTC, Bybit EU applies a single spot fee. At VIP 0, with a balance from €0 and 30-day spot volume under €10,000, the fee is 0.2500%. Published rates fall as volume rises. It is not a maker/taker schedule. The help centre says to check the account fee after identity verification. An older VIP page described maker and taker fees; this profile uses the unified schedule.
- Custody
Client title; keys and omnibus wallet at Bybit EU.

The custody agreement says the client is the legal and economic owner and that Bybit EU GmbH controls the keys. Client crypto-assets are segregated from the company’s, may share an omnibus wallet and are identified on an internal register. The text says the company does not use those assets and spreads them across hot, warm and cold wallets.
- Deposits and withdrawals
Fiat deposit with no Bybit EU fee. No single SEPA withdrawal figure is fixed here.
Official sourceRead full conditions
A fiat deposit has no Bybit EU GmbH exchange fee; an external provider may charge. A withdrawal shows its fee on the relevant page. SEPA is not available in every country, and the help centre sets a 10 million per-order limit without publishing a single percentage in that article. The English euro-withdrawal page, read on 31 October 2026, said the service was unavailable and showed no amount. This profile does not fix a SEPA figure.
The single spot fee
From 5 October 2026, 11:00 UTC, spot orders use one fee. At VIP 0, with a balance from €0 and 30-day volume under €10,000, it is 0.2500%. Published rates are lower as volume or VIP level rises. The article says to check the verified account’s fee. Do not use an older maker/taker table for this date.
Deposits and withdrawals
Bybit EU GmbH charges no exchange fee on a fiat deposit. The payment provider may charge its own. For withdrawals, the help centre points to the withdrawal page and says SEPA is only in some EU countries, with a 10 million per-order limit. The English euro-withdrawal page, read on 31 October 2026, said the service was unavailable and showed no amount. There is no SEPA figure in this profile.
Custody
The agreement says you are the legal and economic owner and that the company holds the keys: there is no self-custody on that account. Client assets are segregated from Bybit EU’s, may share an on-chain wallet and are recorded on an internal book. The text says the company does not use those assets and spreads them across hot, warm and cold wallets.
What to check before opening an account
Confirm that onboarding is on Bybit EU and not the global site, that your country is in the passport used here and that your account fee is still the single published rate. If you plan to use SEPA, check it on your account’s deposit page: the article does not promise the method across the EEA. The comparison with Bitvavo’s book is on its page.
Entity, services and regulation
Entity and address
Bybit EU GmbH, LEI 5299005V5GBSN2A4C303. ESMA records the address Donau-City-Straße 7, 1220 Vienna, and the FMA Article 63 authorisation dated 28 May 2025. The service site is bybit.eu, not the brand’s global website.
Authorised services and countries
The ESMA file limits the services to custody and administration, exchange for funds, exchange for other crypto-assets, placing and transfers. Operating a platform and executing orders for clients are not listed. A spot fee does not turn the service into an authorised multilateral book.
The service countries do not include Malta. The restricted-nationality list, updated on 7 May 2026, also names Malta and several countries outside the EEA. That list speaks of nationality, not a residence ban for the rest of the passport. This profile does not admit Malta.
