Where they tie and where they do not
KuCoin VIP 0, Class A: 0.10% and 0.10%. Class B: 0.20%. Class C: 0.30%. Gate VIP 0, from 9 April 2026: 0.100% and 0.100%, or 0.0900% with GT. The tie is Class A against VIP 0, without a token.
USDC/USDT on Gate is at 0% and does not add VIP volume. KuCoin EU, on its page, also shows 0.100% at LV0, but that row is European and is not used as proof of Class A.
Vienna and Malta, set aside
KuCoin EU Exchange GmbH, LEI 529900B4G0EGK7Z9KT45, is authorised in the ESMA file of 2 November 2026, with a Vienna address. Gate Technology Limited, LEI 984500D6A0F945BB5A15, is authorised with a Msida address and a European website. Each brand’s global agreement does not name one company.
Malta is not on the notified country list of either row. Greece appears as EL on Gate’s and as GR on KuCoin’s; the catalogue stores GR.
Deposits that are not the taker
KuCoin publishes a 1 EUR each-way SEPA reference for individuals and a 2.6 BRL Pix withdrawal, with the warning that the screen controls. A crypto withdrawal carries the network fee.
Gate Learn says a standard on-chain deposit carries no platform fee and that a withdrawal usually does. There is no Gate Technology Limited SEPA in this comparison.
Which sentence is fair
It is fair to say the entry taker matches at 0.10% if the KuCoin pair is Class A and nobody pays with GT. It is not fair to extend that to Class C or to Gate’s European site.
On the international ranking both sit in the 0.10% group, in alphabetical order after Bybit and MEXC: Binance, Bitget, Gate and KuCoin. LBank and BTCC come after them, on another spot schedule. The alphabet is not a quality.
