Best of KuCoin
Global class table, updated on 10 July 2026.
- VIP 0, Class A: 0.10% maker and 0.10% taker.
- The asset class changes the price: B is at 0.20% and C at 0.30%.
Areas to improve
The 0.10% does not describe all of KuCoin or the European account.
- KuCoin EU has its own LV0 row at 0.100% / 0.100%, and it is another company.
- The July VIP page does not confirm a current KCS discount.
What we make of KuCoin and who it suits
KuCoin fits if you know the pair’s class. At VIP 0, Class A is at 0.10% on both sides. Class B doubles that figure and Class C triples it. Without that label, the 0.10% is an incomplete comparison.
There is a separate KuCoin EU, with a Vienna company and its own table. This profile does not say the global site will contract you with that company or that signup is open in your country.

Two readings: the global site and Vienna
The terms of www.kucoin.com, dated 29 October 2026, speak of the platform and not of one legal name. That is why the global entity in this profile carries no verified authorisation.
KuCoin EU Exchange GmbH is in the ESMA file: LEI 529900B4G0EGK7Z9KT45, Am Grünen Prater 2, 1020 Vienna, authorisation of 27 November 2025. The notified countries do not include Malta. The register’s services are custody, exchange for funds or other crypto-assets, placement and transfers. We have not copied its fees onto the international ranking.
The pair’s class decides the row
On spot, the class is set by the base currency. The VIP help explains it with KCS: the class is KCS’s and the fee is charged in the quote currency. Not every book is Class A.
Futures on the same VIP 0 table are 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker. They are not part of the spot place. Nor is the 1,000,000 USDT withdrawal cap, which is a 24-hour limit.
Three prices at the same VIP 0
Class A: 0.10% and 0.10%. Class B: 0.20% and 0.20%. Class C: 0.30% and 0.30%. The ranking uses Class A only, and it says so. VIP 1, on the 10 July 2026 table, does not lower Class A: it stays at 0.10% and 0.10%.
KuCoin EU publishes LV0 at 0.100% and 0.100%, and LV1 at 0.095% maker and 0.100% taker. That is a European document, not confirmation of the class table. The KCS discount in older articles does not appear on the July privileges page and we do not treat it as current.
Network, a reference SEPA and Pix
A crypto withdrawal shows a minimum and a fee by network. There is no flat fee for the whole catalogue. A cheap, incompatible network is not an option: the transfer can be lost.
The fiat table of 26 November 2025, marked as a reference, puts individual SEPA at 1 EUR each way and a Pix withdrawal at 2.6 BRL with no deposit fee. Easy Bank Transfer adds 0.25% plus 0.3 EUR. The transaction screen can charge something else.
What each document says
The global contract records activity and the balance on the user account. We did not read a depositary company or a segregation regime in that text.
The custody the MiCA register does name is KuCoin EU Exchange GmbH’s, for the services and countries in its row. Using the global site does not show that this company is yours.
Class, company and screen
Identify the pair’s class before comparing the 0.10%. If signup shows KuCoin EU Exchange GmbH, move to the LV table and not the class table.
On a withdrawal, read the network and the minimum. On fiat, take the figure on the screen, not only the 1 EUR in the reference table.
Same brand, two fees
A Class A taker order pays 0.10% on the global VIP 0 table. The same sentence at KuCoin EU also gives 0.100% at LV0, but the document and the company are different. They are not added together and the favourable one is not picked for the story.
Gate, at global VIP 0, publishes the same 0.100% taker. The KuCoin and Gate comparison is there for that step, with Class A in view.
Where to read next
Gate matches the Class A taker and documents a GT discount. Global Bybit matches crypto-to-crypto and charges more on the first fiat tier. MEXC sits below on the standard taker and above in some zones.
The international ranking orders that entry taker and puts Bybit first because of the commercial priority, not because its fee is the lowest.
Exchange analysis
KuCoin
KuCoin’s VIP table updated on 10 July 2026 splits spot into three classes. At VIP 0, Class A is 0.10% maker and 0.10% taker, Class B is 0.20% and 0.20%, and Class C is 0.30% and 0.30%. Comparing only the 0.10% without naming the class mixes different books. That page does not show a KCS discount; an older table did, and it is not used here as the current fee. KuCoin EU has another table, 0.100% and 0.100% at LV0, and it does not fill this global row.
KuCoin’s global terms, updated on 29 October 2026, describe the platform and the balance recorded on the account, without naming the company that contracts in every country. Custody on the European account is separate: KuCoin EU Exchange GmbH is in the ESMA file for custody and exchange, LEI 529900B4G0EGK7Z9KT45, authorisation of 27 November 2025. That authorisation does not turn the class schedule into a MiCA fee.
KuCoin’s withdrawal help shows the minimum and the network fee of each asset on the screen itself. There is no single amount. A network that does not match the address can make the transfer unrecoverable. The fiat table of 26 November 2025 publishes 1 EUR in and 1 EUR out for individual SEPA, and a 2.6 BRL Pix withdrawal, and it warns that this is a reference. The VIP 0 cap of 1,000,000 USDT in 24 hours is a limit, not the price of a withdrawal.
Who may find it suitable?
KuCoin’s 0.10% is Class A at VIP 0. Class B is at 0.20% and Class C at 0.30%. The Vienna company has its own table and does not fill the international ranking.
Our review of KuCoin
KuCoin is comparable with the 0.10% only when the pair is Class A. Class B and Class C cost twice and three times as much at VIP 0. The Vienna company is on the MiCA register and does not inherit this class table. The global contract, besides, names no company.
