- Spot access does not establish card issuance eligibility.
How Bybit Card works and who it suits
Bybit Card connects a Bybit account’s funds with merchant payments. Its main attraction is practical: you can set aside spending money and manage the card, transactions and rewards alongside your account. In Europe the relevant product is Bybit EU’s euro-denominated Mastercard. Outside the EEA there are separate programmes with their own fees, currencies and card formats.
You do not need to place a trade for each purchase. Payments draw on available funds, converting crypto where needed to settle with the merchant. Decide how much to allocate to spending in advance. Assets held for trading are different from a balance available to the card.
Euros, crypto and virtual or physical cards
For the European product, the Funding Account finances the card. The virtual card supports online payments, while the physical version adds plastic-card payments and compatible ATMs. Having both does not double your budget: the European programme shares spending limits. If a purchase is declined, check available funds and the card limit before retrying.
Holding sufficient euros is the simplest arrangement for euro purchases. Paying from crypto introduces Bybit EU’s conversion. Adding a card to Apple Pay or Google Pay is also different from having a physical card: mobile payments depend on your device, card and programme.
Bybit Card fees in Europe and Mexico
For Bybit EU, the schedule lists a 0.9% crypto conversion charge on the One-Click Sell rate and a 0.5% FX fee on the Mastercard rate when a merchant charges in another currency. These are separate items. Spending crypto outside the euro area may involve both conversions, so 0.9% alone does not describe the total cost.
The virtual card is listed with no issuance charge until further notice. Initial physical-card issuance is free and replacement costs €5. Bybit EU charges 2% on ATM amounts beyond the first €100 withdrawn each month; an operator may add its own fee.
In Mexico, the international schedule lists 2% FX and 0.9% crypto conversion. The monthly allowance without Bybit’s own ATM fee is $100 or MXN 1,800. These figures belong to the Mexican programme; European fees do not transfer to a card issued there.
| Product or movement | Published terms |
|---|---|
| EEA crypto conversion | 0.9% on One-Click Sell rate |
| EEA FX | 0.5% on Mastercard rate |
| EEA ATM | 2% on the amount above €100 monthly |
| EEA physical | First issuance without charge; replacement €5 |
| Mexico: FX / crypto | 2% / 0.9%, according to operation |
Bybit EU cashback: the ordinary 1% rate and points
The current European programme gives non-VIP customers 1% cashback without a monthly cap on eligible purchases. VIP customers retain separate terms. A welcome campaign or subscription rebate has its own timing and requirements; it does not establish a permanently higher rate.
Purchases earn points and Auto Cashback converts available points into the selected asset. ATMs, fees and refunded payments do not qualify for ordinary rewards. To compare the outcome, use genuinely eligible spending and deduct any conversion needed to fund it.
What to check before your first purchase
Open the Card dashboard, check the balance available to spend and review limits. Issuance depends on residence and programme checks. Having a Bybit account or access to spot trading does not itself establish card eligibility. The European application checks identity and address as well as email and 2FA.
Manage the virtual and physical cards through the card dashboard. Use transaction history to distinguish a pending authorisation from a settled charge. A reserved purchase reduces available funds even before final settlement. Activate a new physical card and keep the PIN separately from the plastic.
Bybit Card versus ether.fi Cash and other cards
Bybit is worth considering if you already use the platform and want to fund purchases from a balance. ether.fi Cash adds a choice between Direct Pay and collateral-backed borrowing, changing how you manage your holdings. RedotPay offers a paid-issuance model to compare, while Wirex Card combines accounts with WXT rewards.
Our assessment focuses on the spending workflow and its cost: paying EUR from EUR makes Bybit EU easier to budget for than a chain of conversions. If you will consistently spend crypto or withdraw cash, compare those specific operations. The Bybit Card application guide separates exchange signup from actual card issuance.
Who may find it suitable?
Bybit Card lets you spend a Bybit account balance and earn rewards on eligible purchases. Evaluate the European option through its EUR pricing and the international product through its issuing programme and currency.
Our review of Bybit Card
Bybit EU fits best when you already keep a spending budget in the account and know which balance will be debited. Cashback helps the comparison, but conversions and ATM use can outweigh a reward on a particular transaction.
Frequently asked questions
Does having Bybit let me order a card?
The account and card service have different requirements. The application checks residence and identity for the relevant programme.
Is cashback always 10%?
No. Ordinary non-VIP Bybit EU rewards are 1% on eligible purchases. VIP plans and promotions have separate conditions.
Do the virtual and physical cards have separate balances?
In the European product they share the funding workflow and spending limits. Issuing another card does not add funds.
