Which card fits the way you pay

Funding, currency and frequency of use matter more than one isolated percentage.

A EUR budget

Bybit EU fits available EUR funding without crypto conversion when it is not needed.

A separate spending app

RedotPay can fit a dedicated crypto balance; include issuance and default currency.

Shopping and cash

Separate conversion, FX and ATMs; do not turn a signup campaign into recurring savings.

Platform account or a separate crypto spending budget

Bybit Card extends a platform account: you prepare money in Funding and manage payments and rewards within the same environment. RedotPay centres on a spending app with paid card issuance. To choose, how your budget arrives and the currency you spend matter more than both offering physical plastic.

Bybit’s reference here is its European EUR product; RedotPay is compared using the USD programme. European fees are not transferred to Mexico, nor is being able to pay in a country treated as card eligibility for every resident. The Bybit Card and RedotPay reviews explain formats and operation. Here we compare the cost of getting started and maintaining a shopping budget.

The initial difference: virtual issuance or physical delivery

Bybit EU lists virtual issuance free until further notice and a free first physical card, with EUR 5 replacement. RedotPay charges USD 10 for virtual and USD 100 for physical; standard physical delivery is waived while DHL is quoted by address. RedotPay’s issuance payment does not become USD 10 or USD 100 of shopping money.

If you only need online payments, compare virtual with virtual first. Ordering plastic for one annual use can matter more than small differences in transaction fees. RedotPay’s physical format is most relevant when you actually need supported terminals or ATMs. A temporary issuance offer does not itself change ordinary spending and withdrawal charges.

Crypto conversion and FX are different charges

Bybit EU charges 0.9% crypto conversion on top of its One-Click Sell rate; RedotPay publishes 1%. On a hypothetical equivalent base of 100 units, these fee components are 0.90 and 1 unit respectively. This isolates the percentage fee only. It does not establish an identical final asset-sale price because the underlying rates can differ.

Currency changes the comparison: Bybit EU adds 0.5% when the merchant charges outside EUR; RedotPay separates a 1.2% fee outside the card’s default currency. A EUR purchase on a USD RedotPay card can trigger FX even if you think of your budget in euros. On Bybit, available EUR avoids crypto conversion for that EUR payment. Do not mechanically add 0.9% to every purchase without checking which balance funds it.

Ordinary cashback versus welcome campaigns

Bybit EU offers ordinary uncapped 1% for non-VIP customers on eligible purchases through points and Auto Cashback. RedotPay is not assigned an assumed permanent fixed cashback rate: issuance discounts, welcome credits and promotions have different conditions. The base comparison should still work when you do not join a campaign.

Hypothetical example: an eligible EUR 100 purchase funded with available EUR at Bybit EU produces EUR 1 equivalent of reward at 1%, before converting points to the chosen asset. If funding requires selling crypto, the 0.9% conversion cost is assessed separately on its base. Subtracting reward and fee percentages is not presented as a guaranteed return: the sale rate, currency, reward asset and exclusions matter.

Deposits, cash withdrawals and the first payment

With Bybit, check that funds are in Funding and available to the card; with RedotPay, select the asset and network under Deposit before transferring. A wrong-network transfer is not fixed by changing the payment currency. For regular spending, separate the budget from other holdings and confirm a small deposit before relying on it.

Bybit EU applies 2% to withdrawals above the first EUR 100 monthly. RedotPay USD charges 2% up to USD 10,000 monthly and 3% above that band. The band threshold does not mean USD 10,000 of free withdrawals. Both can face an ATM operator surcharge. The Bybit Card and RedotPay guides cover verification, application, activation and balance checks without requiring trading activity.

Which alternative fits each case

Bybit EU deserves an early comparison for someone already using the platform who wants EUR-funded EUR payments and an understandable ordinary reward programme. RedotPay can suit someone preferring a separate spending app and accepting issuance costs, particularly for virtual use. For foreign-currency spending, assess 1.2% FX and 1% conversion before giving more weight to a signup discount.

If bank-funded EUR and linked accounts matter most, also compare RedotPay vs Wirex Card. If you want to spend stablecoins from a Vault, explore Bybit Card vs ether.fi Cash. The crypto card directory brings all four workflows together. The final choice should follow purchase currency and frequency rather than a one-off bonus.

How to make the decision

  1. Choose your funding

Decide whether to spend euros, stablecoins or collateral-backed credit.

  2. Add the costs

Separate issuance, conversion, FX and ATMs before assessing cashback.

  3. Choose the format

Virtual for online purchases; physical when you need plastic and ATMs.

The decision depends on how you pay.
