Best of Bitget

Base rate on Bitget’s schedule, before regional campaigns.

  • VIP 0: 0.1% maker and 0.1% taker.
  • With BGB, 0.08% and 0.08%.

Areas to improve

The prohibited-country list and the internal ledger matter as much as the 0.1%.

  • The terms bar, among others, Germany, France, Austria, Hong Kong and the United States.
  • Credited assets are not segregated on-chain per user.

What we make of Bitget and who it suits

Bitget fits a comparison of a 0.1% spot taker, the same entry step as Binance and Gate, if the country is not on the prohibited list in its terms. Someone who pays the fee in BGB sees 0.08%.

It does not fit someone resident in Germany, France, Austria, Hong Kong or the United States, among other bars written on 20 October 2026. Ukraine is not barred as a whole: the text limits Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia. This profile does not open signup in the rest of the world.

BTG Technology Holdings Limited

The terms updated on 20 October 2026 say the platform is operated by BTG Technology Holdings Limited. The contract law the text chooses is Hong Kong law and the arbitration seat is the HKIAC. We have not found the company’s country of incorporation in those terms.

There is no Bitget row in the MiCA file of 2 November 2026. Authorisation stays unverified. The French addendum speaks of a CASP and a custody fee if KYC is not completed; we do not turn that into a European licence for all of Bitget.

Spot and what the schedule keeps apart

The rate in this profile is spot: 0.1% if you add to the book and 0.1% if you take it, at VIP 0. Futures, according to the help page itself, use another base, 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker, and they do not enter the spot ranking.

A zero-maker campaign for selected regions, closed to API, does not replace the schedule. When it ends, the page points back to the general table.

The 0.1% and the BGB discount

VIP 0 asks for no volume. The row is 0.1% / 0.1%, or 0.08% / 0.08% if BGB pays the fee. The international ranking uses the 0.1% taker, without the token, so it can line up with Binance and with Bybit crypto-to-crypto.

The page warns that region and some coins can leave the table. The order, once filled, leaves the figure in the history. We do not treat an old VIP capture as good if it contradicts the current schedule.

Crypto with no deposit fee, fiat on its own table

A crypto deposit carries no Bitget fee. A withdrawal does, and it changes with the coin, the network and how busy the chain is. It is confirmed on the screen, not as a fixed number in this profile.

The individual fiat help publishes instant SEPA at 0 EUR in and 1 EUR out, dollar SWIFT at 0 USD and 30 USD, and peso SPEI at 5 MXN. An OXXO Pay deposit is at 4%. That is Bitget’s table, not a fee copied from an EEA exchange, and an institutional account uses other rows.

A ledger balance, not your own key

Bitget records the quantity and type of asset on the account. Those assets are not separated on-chain from other customers’ or from the platform’s own. The text says Bitget is not a trustee.

If you send an unsupported asset or use an incompatible network, the terms treat the loss as yours. There is a discretionary, paid recovery attempt, with no guaranteed result.

Country, rate and network

Before signup, read whether your country is on the prohibited list. The bar wins over any schedule. Inside Ukraine, the text does not cover the whole country: it names five territories.

Then confirm whether your VIP is still at 0.1% or whether a campaign or the region has moved you. To withdraw crypto, choose the network the destination address accepts, not the cheapest.

When you are the maker

A limit order that rests on the book pays the maker fee. A market order, or a limit that matches at once, pays the taker fee. At VIP 0 the two percentages match, so the order type does not change the 0.1% until you move up a level or turn on BGB.

That makes the 0.1% comparable with the entry taker at Binance and at global Bybit. It does not make it comparable with Bybit EU’s single 0.25% or with MEXC’s standard 0.05%.

Bybit, Binance and the ranking

Global Bybit publishes 0.1000% on crypto-to-crypto and a 0.2000% taker on the first fiat tier. Binance matches the 0.100% and documents the BNB discount. MEXC publishes a standard 0.05% taker, with more expensive zones.

The Bybit and Bitget comparison is in the comparison directory. Bybit’s place on the international ranking is the commercial priority, not a fee lower than Bitget’s.

BTG Technology Holdings Limited

Trading fees

Bitget’s schedule publishes 0.1% maker and 0.1% taker for VIP 0. If the fee is paid in BGB, the same row falls to 0.08% and 0.08%. The spot-rules article repeats that 0.1% base and the 20% BGB discount. The page warns that a coin or a region may use another rate and that the account history is the one that counts. A zero-maker campaign limited to selected regions and excluding API is not this entry rate.

Custody

The terms of BTG Technology Holdings Limited say the balance is an internal entry. Credited assets are not held in an on-chain wallet separate from other users’ assets or from assets Bitget holds for its own activity. Bitget states that it is not a trustee of those assets. This profile has no MiCA licence: the ESMA file read on 2 November 2026 has no Bitget row.

Deposits and withdrawals

Bitget does not charge a crypto deposit; the sending network may charge its own. A crypto withdrawal has a fee that depends on the asset, the network and congestion, and it is shown before confirmation. For individual fiat, the help page publishes instant SEPA at 0 EUR in and 1 EUR out, USD SWIFT at 0 USD in and 30 USD out, and MXN SPEI at 5 MXN. Those are figures from that table, not from a European MiCA account, and the transaction screen can show another.

Who may find it suitable?

Bitget publishes 0.1% maker and taker at VIP 0. The October 2026 terms bar several countries and describe the balance as an internal ledger.

Our review of Bitget

Bitget leaves entry spot at the same 0.1% as Binance, Gate and KuCoin Class A, with a BGB discount the ranking does not apply. The restriction is written in the terms: several countries do not pass signup. Custody is a ledger balance, not a key held by the customer.
