Areas to improve
Points to consider

- HSK payment has its own conditions and balance requirements and is disabled by default.
A spot alternative with Hong Kong fiat funding
This comparison focuses on HashKey Exchange’s spot trading and fiat and crypto funding. Its usefulness depends on whether those pairs and currencies match your workflow. Funding from an HKD bank account differs from sending USDT from another exchange. Bank and transfer-currency costs matter in the first case; network compatibility and sending charges in the second. The reviewed product is Hong Kong’s HashKey Exchange, associated with Hash Blockchain Limited. HashKey Global’s schedule is not used to fill gaps or replace these terms.

Fiat and crypto pairs: choose the unit of the trade
The selected pair determines what you buy, how you pay and the unit in which you measure the result. HashKey distinguishes fiat/crypto fees charged in the quote currency from crypto/crypto fees charged in the asset received. That helps reconcile balances: not every deduction appears in dollars. Check filled quantity, fee currency and average price together. A return to fiat also requires selling and making the bank withdrawal. The market and limit order guide explains execution independently of the interface.
VIP 0 and the USD 1.99 order minimum
Entry-level spot pricing is 0.29% maker and taker below USD 50,000 of 30-day volume. Trading rules also set a USD 1.99 equivalent minimum per fully filled order, excluding 0%-fee orders. A hypothetical USD 100 purchase produces a USD 0.29 percentage calculation, below the minimum; the reference charge under that rule is therefore USD 1.99. At USD 1,000, the percentage calculation is USD 2.90. The minimum is not multiplied by each partial fill: the rule concerns completed orders and excludes incomplete ones. For small purchases this can matter more than minor percentage differences.

| VIP 2: from USD 100,000 | 0.20% maker / 0.29% taker |

Eight volume tiers: what changes at higher levels
VIP 0 through VIP 7 use rolling 30-day trading volume converted to USD. VIP 1 starts at USD 50,000, reducing maker to 0.25% while taker stays at 0.29%; VIP 2 starts at USD 100,000 and lowers maker to 0.20%. Higher levels alter both sides. These are trading-volume thresholds, not balances to deposit for an automatic rate. Trading unnecessarily to reach a tier can cost more than the eventual saving. The full table lets you compare your actual level rather than a headline reserved for the largest volume.
Optional HSK payment and fee currency
HSK spot-fee payment is disabled by default. Its advertised 5% discount has access and balance conditions, and the minimum charge follows the same reduction. Insufficient HSK balance leads to the ordinary fee currency being used. The discount is not a universal price or a reason by itself to buy a token. Holding it adds exposure to its own price, while HSK trading on this product is aimed at professional investors. Start comparisons with standard rates and assess the option separately if it fits the account and workflow.
Funding: separate exchange, bank and network charges
The inspected schedule waives HashKey deposit fees for the displayed fiat and crypto rows. Sending-bank and intermediary charges remain separate. HKD withdrawals cost HKD 5 with a HKD 400 minimum; USD withdrawals cost USD 10 with a USD 50 minimum. USDT on Ethereum or Tron costs 1 USDT with a 25 USDT withdrawal minimum. Bitcoin-network BTC shows a 0.00003 BTC charge and 0.005 BTC minimum. A minimum is not a fee, and one network’s charge is not transferable to another asset. Recheck confirmation because schedules can change.
Orders, records and APIs for an organised workflow
Hong Kong product API documentation covers market data and order management. It can help record fills or automate a user’s own processes, but does not make a strategy profitable or remove connection failures. Manual users can follow a simpler routine: select the pair, review price and size, confirm fills and reconcile balances. External tools should receive only necessary permissions; the account-security guide explains credential handling. APIs and VIP discounts serve different needs and neither replaces understanding costs and the final destination of funds.
HashKey Exchange versus OSL, Kraken and Coinbase
OSL offers another Hong Kong market reference with its own product and pricing. Kraken and Coinbase provide different books and funding routes without transferring their terms to HashKey. Fix the usual order size and add entry, execution and exit costs. HashKey’s minimum can dominate small orders; VIP level and funding route matter more as activity grows. The total-cost guide combines those elements without declaring a universal winner from one percentage.
Who may find it suitable?
HashKey Exchange offers fiat and crypto spot pairs through its Hong Kong product. Its VIP tier and minimum order charge both matter: a small purchase does not necessarily cost only the advertised percentage.
Our review of HashKey Exchange
HashKey Exchange is more relevant to users needing its Hong Kong spot markets and funding route than to those simply seeking the lowest headline percentage. The minimum charge makes order size important, while VIP tiers can change frequent-trading costs. Keep HashKey Global separate: shared branding does not make fee schedules interchangeable.

What is HashKey Exchange VIP 0 pricing?
Spot maker and taker are 0.29%, subject to USD 1.99 equivalent per fully filled order and the schedule’s exceptions.
Does each partial fill incur the minimum?
The published rule refers to a fully filled spot order and excludes incomplete orders. It should not be multiplied by every partial fill.
Is HSK payment mandatory?
No. It is optional and disabled by default. The stated 5% discount depends on eligibility and sufficient balance; the minimum is adjusted under that rule too.
Can HashKey Global fees be used here?
No. This review covers HashKey Exchange Hong Kong and its own fee schedule.
