A recurring purchase schedules acquisitions; it does not run a Grid bot or ensure a favourable average price. Use this workflow to organise contributions, reconcile charges and stop the plan when your needs change.

This tutorial covers the European product and its funding methods.
Use your verified Bybit EU account and decide on a per-period budget before choosing a coin. Recurring Buy schedules purchases; it does not automatically sell after a price rise or maintain a trading range. Bybit trading bots follow different rules. The recurring-purchase ranking compares platform workflows.
Prepare fiat funds in Funding or a card payment method supported by your account. For deposited EUR, first follow funding Bybit EU with euros. Separate scheduled contributions from money you need elsewhere: automation does not make the budget unlimited. Do not import an international plan’s terms into this account.
Check what you pay and which asset each execution will deliver.
Twice a month and every two weeks are different schedules and can produce different annual totals. Read the next execution date and record it with your budget. The European monthly calendar limits selection to days 1–28, avoiding missing dates in shorter months; a monthly purchase is not automatically a four-week interval.
Scheduling a plan and executing a purchase have different cost treatment.
Bybit EU documents Fiat Balance and Card Payment for Recurring Buy. For the balance option, keep the correct fiat currency in Funding. Equivalent value in a different currency does not establish that the next purchase is funded. For cards, check linking, ownership and issuer requirements before the first debit.
| Field | Review |
|---|---|
| Amount | Per-execution budget, not your total balance. |
| Schedule | Actual dates of subsequent charges. |
| Payment | Balance or card chosen for that plan. |
| Cost | Purchase terms, not an assumed spot fee. |
Creating the schedule has no scheduling fee, but executed transactions are subject to costs. Do not automatically apply an order-book spot fee to Recurring Buy. Review each purchase’s price and details, especially when changing funding. The total-cost guide separates execution price, charges and subsequent withdrawals.
You can set a budget; received units depend on each purchase.
Hypothetical scenario: allocate EUR 40 weekly to an asset supported by your plan. Four executions represent EUR 160 of scheduled contributions. That does not guarantee EUR 160 of end-period market value: each execution has a different quote and may incur costs. A falling price also reduces the value of earlier holdings even when the next contribution buys more units.
Record the date, euros paid, net units and charges. Compute average cost by dividing total spending by units actually received, applying a consistent fee treatment. Do not average four screen prices when purchased quantities differ. This reconciles the accumulation plan without turning it into a profit promise.
Changing future contributions is different from reversing a completed purchase.
Open plan details from Recurring Buy history and reconcile executions with Funding, where purchased crypto is received. The European FAQ says parameters cannot be edited: terminate the current plan and create a replacement to change amount, asset or frequency. Check the next date before replacement so two plans do not unintentionally buy the same asset.
Cancellation in Plan Details stops future purchases; it does not return coins or refund a completed purchase. Keeping your holdings does not require leaving the schedule active. A later sale is a separate transaction with its own price and costs; the spot tutorial explains orders and fills.
Check purchase and payment status before trying again.
Insufficient funds do not create a partial purchase. The FAQ describes another attempt on the next scheduled date and termination after three consecutive insufficient-funds failures. Check notifications, currency and available balance; do not assume every missed contribution will later be collected in one catch-up payment.
If a debit has no matching order, reconcile its identifier with history and request a review before creating another plan. Keep the affected execution details. An expired card, declined authorisation or money held in the wrong account requires fixing that cause rather than increasing frequency. Finish with a schedule you can fund and monitor.
For a one-off balance exchange, Instant or Limit Convert differs from scheduling recurring purchases; review its quote before confirming.
Review these points before taking the next step.
Small checks for a more considered decision.
Recurring Buy does not automatically inherit spot pricing.
Terminating a plan does not sell accumulated assets.
End the old plan and check its next execution before replacement.
The European FAQ requires ending the plan and creating another with new settings.
No. This schedules purchases; a bot can use different trading rules and funds.
Check its cause and next date; three consecutive insufficient-funds failures end the plan.
No. It stops future purchases; completed acquisitions remain in your balance.
