Best of MEXC

Standard taker from the 20 October 2026 guide, not the rate in every zone.

  • Published maker: 0% on the spot in that guide.
  • Standard taker: 0.05%. With MX, the guide leaves it at 0.0400% where the account has the deduction.

Areas to improve

Zones, API and country change the figure. Custody is not authorised in the MiCA file.

  • Innovation and MEME+ move to a 0.08% taker on 30 September 2026. Assessment, to 0.20%.
  • The Seychelles FSA says MX Global Ltd operates the site with no VASP licence. The contract names another company, in Comoros.

What we make of MEXC and who it suits

MEXC is the taker exception in this group: the guide of 20 October 2026 sets the standard at 0% maker and 0.05% taker. It is useful for comparing that step with the 0.10% at Bybit, Binance, Bitget, Gate and KuCoin Class A, as long as the pair is not in a more expensive zone.

It does not fit as a universal signup. The agreement itself says products and functions may not exist in your jurisdiction, and it allows prices to differ by residence. There is no MEXC affiliate link on this site.

Comoros in the contract, Seychelles in the statement

The agreement updated on 13 October 2026 says you contract with MEXC (Comoros) Ltd, Boulevard de Coelacanthe, Mutsamudu, Anjouan. We have not verified that company on a Comoros licence register.

The Seychelles FSA identifies MX Global Ltd as the company operating www.mexc.com and states that it has no licence under its virtual-asset provider law. It adds that MEXC Global Ltd was dissolved and did not have one either. We do not equate the two companies or extend the statement to other countries. There is no MEXC row in the MiCA file of 2 November 2026.

Standard spot, zones and the zero promotion

A maker, in the guide, is the order that enters the book. A taker is the one that matches at once. The October standard is 0% and 0.05%. Special Rate pairs follow another list and can be more expensive.

From 1 February 2026 the zero maker and taker remains on USDC and on selected pairs. API, institutions, market makers and project teams do not enter that offer. From 30 September, Innovation and MEME+ raise the taker to 0.08% and Assessment to 0.20%, on USDT pairs, with the maker still at 0.00%.

0.05% is not the ceiling or the floor of every pair

For a pair outside a zone and outside the promotion, the guide uses a 0.05% taker and a 0% maker. If the account can pay with MX, the same text leaves the standard taker at 0.0400%. The general fee page, when read, did not show a usable discount percentage and warns that region controls. We do not invent that discount.

The international ranking places MEXC by that standard 0.05% taker, after Bybit. After does not mean more expensive than Bybit: 0.05% is lower than Bybit’s 0.1000% crypto-to-crypto. Bybit’s first place is the commercial priority and the ranking page says so.

No MEXC fee on the way in, a network fee on the way out

The guide treats a crypto deposit as free on MEXC’s side. A withdrawal pays the network. The article of 12 September 2025 points to the screen for the live figure and adds that sending to another MEXC user carries no fee and is credited quickly.

The agreement says MEXC does not itself provide deposits or withdrawals of fiat currency. There is, in this profile’s sources, no MEXC SEPA or SPEI table we can cite.

Contractual custody and a licence Seychelles denies

Clause 36 of the agreement says MEXC maintains custody of the account’s assets, funds and data, and that it may turn them over to authorities if the account is suspended for fraud or for a breach. It does not promise segregation.

That is not a Seychelles authorisation. The FSA says the opposite about MX Global Ltd and about the former MEXC Global Ltd. Until the contract and the supervisor speak about the same company, authorisation stays unknown.

The pair’s zone, API and country

See whether the pair is standard, USDC under the promotion, or in Innovation, MEME+ or Assessment. The difference between a 0.05%, zero and 0.20% taker is there. If you trade by API, the zero offer does not cover you.

Read the legal name at signup. If it is not MEXC (Comoros) Ltd, this profile does not describe your contract. And confirm that the country is not among those the form rejects: we do not have a closed official list beyond the general clause.

Why a lower fee does not take the ranking

On a standard taker order, 0.05% is half the 0.10% on the other entry schedules in this group. On a maker order, the guide puts 0%. Both sentences have small print: zone, promotion, API and region.

Bybit remains the first card on the international ranking because the owner prioritises that agreement, not because 0.1000% is lower than 0.05%. The Bybit and MEXC comparison develops that contrast.

The 0.10% group and Bybit

Binance, Bitget, Gate and KuCoin Class A group at a 0.10% or 0.100% taker. Global Bybit does too, on crypto-to-crypto, and rises to a 0.2000% taker on the first fiat step.

None of those profiles claims that MEXC, or they, are available in every country. The directory and the ranking show availability separately, when the country is known, and leave it unverified when there is no rule.

Exchange analysis

MEXC (Comoros) Ltd

Trading fees

MEXC’s guide of 20 October 2026 describes a 0% spot maker and a standard 0.05% taker. Special-rate pairs can cost more. From 1 February 2026 the zero promotion is limited to USDC pairs and selected pairs; the rest return to the standard fee, and API, institutions, market makers and project teams are excluded. From 30 September 2026, USDT pairs in Innovation and MEME+ move to a 0.08% taker and Assessment to 0.20%, with a 0.00% maker in those zones. The fee page adds that region and events can change the rate. Where the account has MX deduction, the guide cuts the standard taker to 0.0400%.

Custody

The agreement of 13 October 2026 contracts with MEXC (Comoros) Ltd and says MEXC maintains custody of the account assets. It does not describe segregation or a licensed custodian. The Seychelles FSA, for its part, points to MX Global Ltd as the operator of www.mexc.com with no Seychelles VASP licence. The two readings do not combine into one authorisation. The MiCA file of 2 November 2026 has no MEXC row.

Deposits and withdrawals

The guide says a crypto deposit carries no MEXC fee and that each withdrawal carries the network fee. The withdrawal article points to the screen for the current amount and adds that a transfer to another MEXC user address carries no fee. The agreement allows prices to differ by country and does not publish one fiat table. MEXC says it does not itself provide deposits or withdrawals of legal tender.

Who may find it suitable?

MEXC publishes a standard 0.05% taker and a 0% maker. Innovation, MEME+ and Assessment charge more, and the contract’s company does not match the one named by the Seychelles FSA.

Our review of MEXC

MEXC publishes the lowest standard taker in this group, 0.05%, with the maker at 0%. It is not a single fee: the September zones cost more, the zero promotion is partial and the page warns of differences by region. The contract and the Seychelles statement do not name the same company.
