LBank vs MEXC

MEXC lists standard spot at 0% maker and 0.05% taker, with different terms for some zones and offers. LBank uses pair-dependent bands. For an altcoin market, compare the complete order and the asset’s withdrawal route: a smaller fee can lose its advantage at a worse executable price.

Products and trading

Spot, manual futures, FCT copying, API and a card for eligible users. Copying uses a separate subaccount.

Zone-based spot, futures and Smart Ratio copying. Price and terms are checked in the chosen mode and pair.

Spot: maker, taker and buying

Spot: 0%–0.20% maker and 0.10%–0.20% taker depending on pair and terms. There is no single entry rate across all markets.

Standard spot: 0% maker and 0.05% taker. Innovation/MEME+ USDT: 0.08% taker; Assessment: 0.20%. Maker in these zones: 0%.

Discounts and tiers

Advertised VIP minima (spot taker from 0.03% and futures from 0.02%) require their conditions; they are not every account’s starting rate.

MX deduction, when applicable: 0.04% standard taker. Zero fees only apply to covered pairs; the offer excludes API and institutional users among others.

Futures: fees

Manual futures: 0%–0.02% maker and 0%–0.10% taker depending on contract and terms. FCT copying uses its own fee.

Contracts, margin and funding

Execution fees are calculated on notional, not margin. Futures add funding where applicable; the manual account must not be confused with FCT.

No comparable data
Copy trading

Separate FCT funded from spot; Smart or per-order copying with fixed amount/multiplier and limits. Copy VIP 0: 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker without inheriting a higher VIP tier; leader profit share is separate.

Smart Ratio relates position size to the trader’s capital proportion. Cross margin is supported; minimum sizes, balance and execution can produce a different result.

API and connections

Trading API: optional IP binding, 30-day expiry without binding and up to four IPs. The withdrawal API requires an IP. External trading connections need not receive withdrawal permissions.

No comparable data
Card and payments

Card funded from spot without a separate card account. Virtual: no issuance fee; physical: USDT 69 application fee. The physical-card announcement lists 0.8% spending fees; issuance, limits and fees depend on country and product.

Deposits and fiat methods

Crypto deposits without a LBank fee. Fiat funding costs depend on the bank, card or payment provider.

Crypto deposits without a MEXC fee. Internal transfers to another MEXC user address have no fee in the withdrawal reference.

Withdrawals

On-chain withdrawals have a token-, network- and congestion-dependent fee. The screen shows the estimated net amount before confirmation.

On-chain withdrawals use the network fee shown for the transaction; internal transfers between MEXC users have no fee in that reference.

Assets and transfer networks

Withdrawals show token, network, fee and estimated net amount before confirmation. The fee changes with network and congestion.

On-chain withdrawals charge the displayed network fee for the asset. Check the pair, destination network and net amount.

Platforms and differences in use

Spot, manual futures and FCT separate trading and balances. The API supports external connections; the card uses the spot balance.

The spot market separates zones with different fees; API automation does not inherit zero-fee campaigns for covered users.

Custody

LBK Exchange custodial balance; per-client segregation is not described.

MEXC maintains custody of account assets under the agreement with MEXC (Comoros) Ltd.

Which fits the way you trade?

The choice depends on what you want to do, rather than a single fee.

A standard spot pair

MEXC offers the 0/0.05% benchmark; check the coin’s zone, price and withdrawal.

USDT already available

The actual pair matters more than catalogue size

Start with the asset and quote currency rather than the platform’s advertised coin count. Two USDT pairs let you compare the same budget, but available orders and withdrawal networks can differ. An altcoin with the same name on another chain does not guarantee the same deposit. The LBank review and MEXC review cover the wider products; the useful question here is which market completes your trade.

If funds already sit on one account, include moving them before deciding on a fraction of a percentage point. Acquiring USDT from local currency, transferring it and withdrawing the altcoin later are separate operations. A recipient’s free crypto deposit does not remove any charge at the sending platform.

MEXC standard and special zones versus LBank’s range

LBank lists maker at 0–0.20% and taker at 0.10–0.20%, depending on the pair and terms. A published range does not let you choose its lowest endpoint. MEXC lists standard spot at 0% maker and 0.05% taker. Innovation and MEME+ USDT pairs have a 0.08% taker reference; Assessment has 0.20%. The main table keeps the standard benchmark and its qualifiers rather than pricing every altcoin alike.

MX deduction can reduce MEXC’s standard taker to 0.04% when its conditions are met. Its zero-on-both-sides offer covers USDC and selected pairs, not every market, and excludes API and institutional users among others. Standard zero maker pricing is not the same as an offer also removing taker fees. The low-fee ranking compares ordinary benchmarks and alternatives within their scopes.

Example: 1,000 USDT, fee versus depth

On a hypothetical 1,000 USDT fill, MEXC standard would charge 0.50 USDT taker. Its 0.08% zone would mean 0.80 USDT, and Assessment at 0.20% would mean 2 USDT. LBank’s taker range gives 1 to 2 USDT, subject to the pair’s rate. This compares notional before withdrawal without assigning the coin a price. A later sale need not have the same notional as the purchase.

In another hypothetical case, an average buy price 0.20% worse on that budget costs 2 USDT, more than the fee gap above. Add the asks needed to fill your size instead of using the last traded price. A limit controls the maximum acceptable price but may not fill. Market and limit orders explains that trade-off between immediacy and control.

Compare the books for the size you intend to trade

Look at the best bid–ask spread, available quantity near your limit and the average price of the full order. Brand-wide volume does not establish depth for one altcoin. A book snapshot does not guarantee the state at confirmation either. For a position large relative to visible orders, compare what would remain unfilled and how you would manage that remainder.

For frequent purchases, an API can help query balances and orders, but use its effective rate and minimum required permissions. LBank documents IP controls and key expiry; MEXC’s zero offer must not be assigned to an excluded API connection. Automation does not itself improve pricing or turn a long token list into available liquidity.

Withdrawal can settle an altcoin trade

Before funding, check the token, chain and transfer status on both platforms. LBank displays the fee and estimated net withdrawal; MEXC lists costs by asset and chain. Do not assume a universal USDT charge or that a cheap deposit route can also withdraw the purchased coin. For transfers between trading accounts, the other platform must support that asset on the chosen chain too.

The USDT network guide and exchange transfer guide help prepare that move. Multiple transfer charges can absorb the trading saving on a small purchase. To hold on an exchange, assess custody and later access to funds as well as the entry fee.

Choosing for spot, API use or copying

MEXC provides a low execution-cost benchmark for a standard pair at 0.05% taker when pricing and withdrawal fit. LBank is worth comparing when funds already sit there or the market and network better serve the trade. Recalculate for an Assessment pair or a connection outside an offer: a standard-purchase conclusion does not automatically carry over.

Both platforms have futures and copying, which need another budget. LBank separates the FCT subaccount from manual trading; MEXC documents Smart Ratio and margin terms. Spot pricing does not summarise copy execution, funding or leader profit-sharing. Use how copying works and the futures ranking for that purpose. LBank vs Bybit adds another alternative for an existing USDT balance.

Does MEXC charge zero fees for every altcoin?

Not on both sides of every trade. Standard pricing distinguishes 0% maker and 0.05% taker, with different zones and offers. Zero-offer pairs and eligible users are a specific case.

Is LBank taker always 0.10%?

No. The published reference is a 0.10–0.20% range. Use the pair’s rate and account terms rather than an advertised VIP minimum.

Which platform has more liquidity for my altcoin?

Compare the actual pair and size: spread, the offers needed and average price. Global volume does not answer that question or guarantee a later fill.

How to make the decision

  1. Define the trade

Buying and withdrawing coins, margined contracts and copying require different products.

  2. Calculate the whole journey

Add opening and closing execution where applicable, funding and moving money; use the rate for your trading mode.

  3. Choose the tools you need

Compare orders, capital controls, API permissions or demo practice according to how you trade.

The decision depends on how you trade.
