Areas to improve

Costs and limitations that matter

  • Buy Crypto lists 2.8%, separate from 1% crypto/fiat.
  • Card deposits add 2.5% plus USD or EUR 0.25.
  • The EUR 7 SEPA withdrawal matters for small amounts.

Choose the mode before the transaction

Tothemoon may interest someone changing existing crypto or comparing a fiat-funded purchase. Its pricing cannot be summarized by one percentage: 0.2% crypto-to-crypto, 1% crypto/fiat and 2.8% Buy Crypto describe different routes. The relevant choice depends on your starting balance and intended final asset.

EEA terms identify Brilliantscope Trading Limited. Outside that scope, onboarding may identify Tothemoon Global Inc.; this does not automatically extend European prices or products to every international account. This review uses the brand’s fee FAQ while keeping the product scope clear rather than listing corporate procedures.

Three prices that are not interchangeable

The FAQ lists 0.2% for crypto-to-crypto exchanges, 1% for crypto/fiat and 2.8% for Buy Crypto. All may end with crypto in an account, but that does not make them economically identical. Check the route selected before applying a percentage.

A fiat-funded purchase can involve a payment movement before execution; exchanging existing crypto starts elsewhere. Do not apply the lower crypto-to-crypto rate to Buy Crypto, or add all three rows as though every purchase used every product. Our fee models guide explains how to read the components of a quote.

Examples without mixing fee bases

On a hypothetical EUR 1,000 equivalent notional, 0.2% represents EUR 2, 1% represents EUR 10 and 2.8% represents EUR 28. These are examples for separate modes, not a combined EUR 40 budget. Compare the usable balance received through the workflow actually offered in your account and what happens when selling again.

Frequent exchanges accumulate execution charges. A purchase rate does not include a later wallet transfer or bank withdrawal, and it does not establish futures, copy-trading or bot pricing. Budgeting your planned transactions is more useful than inferring functions from a platform’s name.

Card deposits add a percentage and a fixed component

Card funding lists 2.5% plus USD or EUR 0.25. On a hypothetical EUR 200 amount, that component is EUR 5.25 before any subsequent operation. The fixed part consumes a greater proportion as amounts shrink. Compare payment convenience with the balance actually received and the cost of the buying mode.

Do not assume card funding, Buy Crypto and crypto/fiat charges always apply together. The confirmation route determines which operations you are undertaking. Existing crypto can be deposited without the listed platform fee, but the sender may charge for withdrawing it. Free receipt does not make reaching Tothemoon costless.

Our funding and withdrawal guide separates payment providers, trades and transfers. Fix the same initial outlay and compare the resulting asset amount, rather than choosing a percentage that may describe only one stage.

SEPA and dollar withdrawals make size important

SEPA withdrawal pricing lists EUR 7. Against a hypothetical EUR 100 withdrawal, that is 7% of the reference amount; against EUR 1,000 it is 0.7%. The fee is not changing its percentage across these examples: a fixed amount has a changing proportional impact. This matters for repeated small cash-outs.

USD bank withdrawals list USD 20, a different route from euro SEPA. Converting one number into another does not make the two methods equivalent. If you need euros at a bank, compare selling and withdrawing EUR plus any actual conversion. Our bank withdrawal guide distinguishes a sale balance from money received.

Assess a fixed withdrawal around a realistic goal such as receiving sale proceeds, rather than emptying the account after every purchase. In a hypothetical example, four SEPA withdrawals each charged EUR 7 total EUR 28, whereas one creates EUR 7 of that component. Waiting also leaves a platform balance for longer, so there is no best frequency for everyone. Understand that trade-off between convenience, costs and custody before starting a routine.

Staking and crypto cards are additional decisions

Tothemoon’s terms incorporate staking and crypto-card terms when those products are used. That does not establish a staking yield, a card price or availability in every account. You do not need to add them to evaluate a purchase or crypto-to-crypto exchange.

Before using an extra function, examine the asset, the balance involved and the charge. A nominal reward is not comparable to a buying rate alone. A crypto card is also different from funding an account with a bank card. Keeping those needs separate avoids turning a brand’s product list into advantages you may never use.

Keeping a balance and arranging a compatible withdrawal

A platform account simplifies certain exchanges between assets, but differs from a wallet whose keys you control. Decide which balance is needed for trading and what you want to move elsewhere. Free crypto deposits do not establish free withdrawals; the outgoing asset and movement have their own pricing.

Check the receiving network, address and any required memo before sending. Our transfer guide explains why identically named assets can travel over different networks. The custody guide compares account convenience with personal-wallet responsibilities.

Plan the whole purchase before confirming

First state the objective: exchanging an existing coin, buying with euros or selling back to a bank. Identify the trading mode and necessary funding movement, then review the final asset or euro amount before confirmation. This prevents confusing a funded account with an executed purchase.

Afterwards, retain the amount, fee and received balance. For repeated transactions, distinguish fixed charges from notional-based costs. EUR 50 and EUR 1,000 purchases have different fixed-cost proportions even with the same trading percentage. Our total-cost guide helps compare them.

Other ways to buy with euros or exchange crypto

Bitvavo provides a reference for euro markets and bank cash-outs. Bitpanda is relevant for simple buying, using the specific mode’s quote. Coinbase separates simple purchases from trading too: comparing brand names alone misses the product.

Tothemoon can fit when its exchange workflow meets your need and total cost is competitive for your amount. For small recurring purchases or frequent euro withdrawals, pay particular attention to the EUR 7 fixed exit charge. Choose using the complete route rather than applying 0.2% to every fiat purchase.

Our review of Tothemoon

Assess Tothemoon through a specific workflow rather than one brand-wide percentage. Crypto-to-crypto changes may be worth comparing, but buying with money and returning it to a bank requires adding distinct stages. Card charges and fixed withdrawals can change the decision for small contributions.

Frequently asked questions

Can every euro purchase use the 0.2% rate?

No. That is crypto-to-crypto. The FAQ separately lists 1% crypto/fiat and 2.8% Buy Crypto; use the mode shown in your transaction.

What would a EUR 200 card deposit cost?

At the published 2.5% plus EUR 0.25, the funding component is EUR 5.25. It is not a complete quote for every subsequent purchase.

Is SEPA withdrawal priced as a percentage?

The published reference is EUR 7. Its proportional impact changes with withdrawal size.

Does free crypto receipt make the entire transfer free?

No. The documented Tothemoon deposit has no platform fee, but the sending exchange or wallet can charge. Withdrawals from Tothemoon have separate terms.
