Buying crypto
Bybit EU NEAR/USDC and LBank NEAR/USDT provide separate spot purchase routes. Buying and later sending to a NEAR account require different checks: a readable account name does not replace selecting the right network.
Decide whether to hold NEAR on an exchange or use its network; that changes receipt preparation rather than the identity of the trading pair.
Check the spot product and payment asset.
The European Bybit directory lists NEAR/USDC, while LBank’s current spot inventory and ticker show NEAR/USDT. These are not perpetual contracts or copied positions. Starting with euros requires preparing the quote asset through an available account workflow; dollar-denominated quotes do not make USDC and USDT the same balance.
The Bybit review separates European and international products. The LBank review and LBank versus Bybit compare tools and funding. This workflow acquires coins without importing another product’s conditions.

Before choosing the platform, compare funding and delivery routes in exchanges for buying NEAR.
Credited funds must be available in the trading account.
Verify account and identity before funding. Bybit EU EUR deposits explains Funding; then check how to obtain USDC and any transfer required for spot. LBank USDT deposits prepares its quote asset using a network shared with the sender. A stablecoin deposit address is not a NEAR receiving instruction.
Distinguish overall account value from available funds: outstanding orders or assets held elsewhere can prevent a purchase. Include the cost of obtaining the stablecoin. The USDT/USDC guide helps avoid an unnecessary conversion.
A purchase is confirmed by fills and balance, not submission alone.
Simple buying may quote a final amount, whereas spot uses the order book. Compare net units for the same spending instead of isolated percentages. For an unfilled limit, wait or cancel according to your plan; reserved funds do not justify duplicating the order. Market and limit orders explains that choice.
Trading fees do not cover the entire workflow.
Bybit EU publishes an initial 0.25% spot tier, subject to account level and effective pricing. LBank separates pair-specific maker and taker rates, with a published 0.1–0.2% taker range; neither endpoint is assumed to be NEAR’s guaranteed rate. Funding, execution price and withdrawal charges are separate.
| Item | Calculation |
|---|---|
| Order | 240 USDC |
| Assumed rate | 0.25% |
| Equivalent fee | 0.60 USDC |
Assuming NEAR at USDC 4, a 240 notional buys 60 gross units. Only if fees are charged in NEAR at that price would the equivalent be 0.15 NEAR, leaving 59.85. This is not a live price or universal charging rule. Inspect the fee currency to avoid double deduction.
When comparing one purchase with two smaller orders, use the same total budget and count only charges that actually repeat. A percentage fee does not double merely because notional is split; a fixed funding charge can change the comparison. Suppose two USDC 120 purchases both pay the hypothetical rate above: their combined notional remains 240 and their equivalent trading charge 0.60. Execution prices and received NEAR can still differ. Withdrawing after each purchase also creates two separate withdrawal quotes rather than one. Record the quote currency spent, net coins received and each exit separately. Do not infer that splitting improves prices without reconciling the actual executions. If the eventual aim is one NEAR account, compare the total amount delivered there, including any repeated funding or transfer costs, rather than the largest number briefly displayed in the trading balance.
Account name, key and network are different information.
NEAR supports named accounts such as .near identifiers and 64-character implicit accounts, alongside other formats. Copy a mainnet-compatible wallet’s receive address rather than manually converting a public key. A 0x-looking identifier does not by itself mean Ethereum is the right network: verify the receiver’s NEAR context.
Native NEAR pays network costs, while some operations also require storage resources. Keep usable funds for actions after receipt and read the wallet estimate. A NEAR representation on another chain does not inherit native functionality merely through its ticker. Buying Aptos compares a different account model without importing its addresses.
Before withdrawing, open the legitimate wallet and locate the account you control. With several accounts, copy Receive from the intended one and compare the whole identifier, not merely .near. A remembered name from an earlier account can belong to another access. For an unsupported format, check compatibility before sending rather than removing prefixes or shortening it. Form acceptance alone does not prove you control the destination.
A spot listing does not establish a particular withdrawal network.
Open NEAR withdrawals and match enabled networks against the wallet’s receive screen. Check accepted format, minimum, charge and net amount. Resolve any receiver setup or unsupported address format before sending; do not alter characters to bypass validation.
Any test transfer must still meet applicable net minimums. Keep the TXID and inspect the correct chain’s explorer. A submitted withdrawal is not a reason to repeat it. Withdrawing to your own wallet separates exchange review from on-chain delivery.
Buying NEAR does not automatically start staking.
Exchange custody and your own account provide different controls. For later delegation inspect the specific service, restrictions and return to transferable funds rather than treating spot buying as Earn enrolment. Buying Solana compares another network coin without assuming compatible wallets.
Start with the transaction behind the balance change.
For missing purchased coins inspect partial fills, destination account and asset-denominated fees. For missing wallet receipt check mainnet, receiving account and TXID before attempting recovery. Crediting a transfer never requires sharing a recovery phrase. The transfer guide organises those checks without accidentally sending twice.
Reconcile a test using requested NEAR, displayed fee and expected net delivery. Compare that net figure with the explorer transfer and wallet change. Euro valuation can move while NEAR quantity stays unchanged. A later action’s gas or storage use can reduce available funds without making the original receipt incomplete.
Review these points before taking the next step.
Small checks for a more considered decision.
Use the receive identifier, not a key copied from settings.
Keep usable NEAR for subsequent actions.
Check enabled withdrawal networks.
The described markets use USDC or USDT; simple EUR buying is a separate quoted workflow.
No. It identifies an account; copy wallet receive details, never a private key.
It may be a representation; check asset and chain before withdrawing or using it.
No. Spot buying and enrolling in delegation or a service are separate decisions.
