What to check first

Selling crypto and sending euros to a bank are separate operations. This tutorial starts with the EUR balance and finishes by reconciling the withdrawal with the receiving account, using the methods offered to your European account.

1. Prepare available euros and an account in your name

Check the currency, transferable balance and verifications before creating a withdrawal.

Open Bybit EU and inspect the available EUR balance in Funding. A portfolio value displayed in euros does not establish withdrawable euros: it can be a valuation of BTC, USDC or other assets. If you still hold crypto, complete the appropriate sale or conversion first and check what was received. Bybit EU Convert explains that transaction separately from the subsequent bank payment.

Prepare identity verification, email access and Google 2FA. Use a receiving account whose holder matches your verified identity. For SEPA, check the link with the bank account used for funding; the method may require a first deposit. Depositing euros on Bybit EU covers that preparation separately from a withdrawal already requested.

2. Open Fiat Withdrawal and choose EUR

The fiat form is different from a crypto withdrawal with an address and blockchain.

  • On the website, open Buy Crypto → Fiat Deposit and Fiat Withdrawal; alternatively use Assets → Funding Account and Withdrawal for EUR.
  • In the app, follow Assets → Funding → Fiat → Withdrawal.
  • Choose EUR, enter the amount and review the available methods.
  • For a SEPA bank withdrawal, select that method when offered and continue.

European help also lists ZEN and PayPal, but those routes and receiving accounts differ from a SEPA IBAN. Do not choose an electronic wallet simply because its name is familiar when the objective is a bank receipt. Read the service and method processing this order rather than relying on a screenshot from another Bybit version.

3. Select the linked IBAN and review its details

A saved receiving account must match the method and currency of this request.

Select the bank account enabled for EUR and match its holder and IBAN against your bank details. Adding an account for another method does not establish its suitability here. If the expected recipient is missing, check the earlier deposit and linking instructions before proceeding. Another person’s details are not a solution to a name mismatch.

If the service requests an additional account review, treat that as a separate step from payment. Approval does not mean the transfer has already been sent. Before confirming, check the receiving bank again: saved details are useful, but they do not replace reviewing the account selected for this particular order.

4. Calculate net EUR and check limits

Check the applicable charge, minimum and maximum before submission.

Withdrawal pricing depends on currency and method. Read the charge and time estimate displayed by the form; spot trading fees do not price a bank payment. The permitted order range and available balance are separate checks. The FAQ distinguishes SEPA limits from the combined limits of other methods: a PayPal or ZEN maximum should not be applied to a bank transfer.

Hypothetical example: you want to receive EUR 500 and the method displays a EUR 2 charge. If deducted, a EUR 500 withdrawal delivers EUR 498; if charged separately, EUR 502 is needed to deliver EUR 500. These are not Bybit EU rates: the example explains deducted versus additional charges. Use the actual summary to calculate total cost.

5. Confirm with email and authentication

Review the final summary before entering authorisation codes.

Review amount, method, receiving account and charge. Complete email and Google verification when requested and confirm once. A successfully submitted request cannot be cancelled according to the Bybit EU FAQ. If a detail is wrong before the final step, return to the form rather than relying on correcting it afterwards.

The requested amount is temporarily held during processing. Do not interpret the balance reduction as another fee or automatically create a second request. Retain its identifier, time and summary to match the withdrawal with the bank receipt. Verification codes belong only in the platform flow, never in support messages.

6. Track the order and resolve a pending withdrawal

Provider status and bank credit can update at different times.

On the website, open Orders from Fiat Withdrawal; in the app, use fiat withdrawal history. Compare status and amount with your bank transactions. Processing does not establish that money is lost. If the displayed estimate is exceeded, collect the identifier and available receipt for official support rather than repeating the payment or sharing passwords.

If an order fails, check its return to Funding before trying again. Arrival estimates depend on method, bank and any review, without a universal guaranteed time. Also retain the balance needed by any Recurring Buy plan: withdrawing every euro can leave its next execution unfunded.

Final checklist

Review these points before taking the next step.

  • Available EUR balance.
  • Receiving account in your name.
  • Method and fee reviewed.
  • Minimum and maximum checked.
  • Codes entered only on Bybit EU.
  • Withdrawal identifier retained.

Common mistakes

Small checks for a more considered decision.

Withdrawing a valuation

Convert or sell first if the balance is still crypto.

Duplicating the request

Check history before submitting again.

Mixing SEPA and wallets

An IBAN is not a crypto deposit address.

FAQs

Can BTC be withdrawn directly to an IBAN?

No. The bank payment needs available EUR. Selling or converting BTC and withdrawing the euros are separate steps.

Can I cancel after confirmation?

The FAQ says a successfully submitted fiat request cannot be cancelled. Review details before final submission.

What does SEPA cost?

Read the charge shown for your method and account. No universal price is assumed and trading fees are not substituted.

Where do I check a failed withdrawal?

In fiat history and Funding to check returned funds. If they do not reconcile, retain the ID and contact support.
