Best exchanges to buy USDT and USDC

For a euro start, compare USDC/EUR on Bybit EU and Bitvavo. For an international USDT or USDC balance, international Bybit and LBank offer a book between the stablecoins. Choose the asset and receiving network first: a spot pair does not guarantee every withdrawal route.

How we build this selection

The selection starts with what you already hold and what you need to receive, rather than counting stablecoins advertised by a brand.

Bybit retains first position through our commercial partnership; LBank fits internationally funded balances and Bitvavo adds a euro buying comparison.

Methodology →Transparency →
  • Exact pair

Distinguish USDC/EUR from USDC/USDT and the direction of the trade.

  • Product rate

Use the pair category, tier and correct European or international product.

  • Order and execution

Compare limit and market orders against available cash and actual quotes.

  • Final receipt

Choose a token, network, contract and charge compatible with the recipient.

Choose by whether you hold euros, USDT or USDC

Starting from a euro bank account, a USDC/EUR book lets you buy without first acquiring another cryptocurrency. Bybit EU and Bitvavo offer that route. With USDT already on an international account, USDC/USDT lets you convert without first returning money to a bank. International Bybit and LBank provide that comparison. These are different decisions: a platform can suit one without being the right route for the other.

The USDT and USDC buying guide explains the buying instructions. Here the decision is the platform: starting balance, order, cost and delivery. An interest-bearing account is not compared with a spot book, and holding stablecoins is not assigned a yield. A dollar-referenced balance still moves against the euro.

Bybit: European USDC and international swaps

Bybit EU’s spot directory includes USDC/EUR. You can compare euro funding followed by a book trade with accepting a quick-buy quote. The entry 0.25% spot rate belongs to that product and does not necessarily include funding. The international offering has USDC/USDT and its VIP 0 crypto-pair reference of 0.10%. A global book is not a promise of USDT for a European account.

On USDC/USDT, buying spends USDT to receive USDC; selling USDC reverses that route. Choosing the wrong side is an order issue, not a network issue. A limit order sets a maximum or minimum price but may remain pending. The market and limit order guide explains that choice without assuming every limit order is maker.

LBank: use a balance that is already funded

LBank publishes a USDC/USDT spot market, separate from any similarly named perpetual contract. Its published spot taker band is 0.10–0.20%, with pair rules determining the actual rate. A hypothetical 500 USDT fill generates 0.50–1 USDT of trading fees within that band. That excludes the price between stablecoins, incoming transfer and withdrawal.

If USDT is already on LBank, moving it solely for a lower rate adds a transfer charge and another step. If your money is still euros in a bank, the calculation changes: acquiring and transferring USDT can cost more than buying USDC directly with EUR. LBank vs Bybit compares tools and funding, while LBank vs MEXC separates product-specific rates.

Bitvavo: a dedicated USDC/EUR fee category

Bitvavo places USDC/EUR in category C, with 0.10% maker and taker at the entry tier. This must not be replaced with the 0.25% taker rate for an ordinary EUR book. On a hypothetical €1,000 fill, the trading component would be €1. The USDC amount also depends on the EUR/USD price reflected in the book and execution; it is not a guaranteed 999 USDC.

Its USDC metadata lists ETH as the network. That matters if you intend to fund an account expecting USDC on Solana, for example: matching token names is not enough. Do not assume withdrawal over an unlisted network. Compare the cost of the actual exit you need before favouring a small trading-fee difference.

Choose by the balance that reaches the destination

For USDT, the TRC20, ERC20 and BNB Chain guide explains how to identify the destination; it does not claim these platforms enable every network. For USDC, also confirm the contract and whether the recipient expects native tokens or a bridged representation. The recipient’s deposit network must match an available withdrawal route.

The conclusion depends on your starting point: Bybit EU or Bitvavo for euros to USDC, international Bybit or LBank for converting an existing USDT/USDC balance. For a wallet destination, deduct trading and withdrawal from the same budget. The exchange transfer guide helps prepare receipt before sending, and the SEPA ranking compares euro funding.

Frequently asked questions

Does spending €1 buy 1 USDC?

No. USDC follows a dollar reference and trades against euros at a market price. EUR/USD, execution and fees matter, and market parity is not guaranteed either.

Does Bybit’s international catalogue apply to an EU account?

No. This ranking compares USDC/EUR on Bybit EU and USDC/USDT on the international product. The latter book and fee are not attributed to a European account.

Can I send USDC or USDT over any network?

Only through an enabled withdrawal route for that token accepted by the recipient. Check network, contract, minimum and charge. A spot pair does not demonstrate support for every network.
