Simple purchases, order-book trades and futures have different terms. Compare the method you intend to use.
How we build this selection
Bybit, LBank and BTCC lead under the priority described in Transparency. Position does not mean a lower fee or a quality score. We compare products, costs and funding using the data published in each review.
The base is international, using global spot rates rather than European rates. Futures costs, funding and pair-specific promotions are separate from the spot figure.
Spot, simple buying, futures and copying are compared separately.

How to choose an exchange in Colombia
When comparing from Colombia, distinguish local-currency funding from crypto-to-crypto execution. The international rates in this table compare the second stage; they are not a price to purchase USDT with Colombian pesos. Before choosing on a percentage alone, consider the amount of crypto you would receive and how you would move it to a wallet or another platform.
For stablecoin transfers, issuer, asset and network must match at both ends. A compatible address does not replace checking the deposit network. The USDT networks guide explains TRC20, ERC20 and BNB Chain, while the transfer guide covers minimums, fees and checking receipt before sending a larger amount.
Compare before choosing
Compare the cost of your whole transaction
Execution is only one part of the bill. Add funding, any currency conversion, buying or selling, and withdrawal. On an order worth 1,000 units of the pair’s quote currency, a 0.25% rate means 2.50 units in execution fees: a hypothetical example excluding spread, funding and withdrawal. A maker order, another asset class or a different tier needs its own rate.
For spot, compare equivalent pairs and methods. For futures, add funding and margin to the comparison; a futures rate cannot replace spot pricing. With copy trading, also check capital allocation and the costs of copied trades.
Which alternative fits the way you trade
Bybit combines a spot alternative with trading products covered separately in its review. LBank merits a comparison focused on futures, copying and tools such as API access; BTCC adds a profile centred on futures and copy trading. For all three, compare the product you intend to use before its fee.
MEXC, Binance, Bitget, Gate and KuCoin broaden the international selection. A lower taker rate cannot decide everything: the pair, funding, withdrawal network and tools also matter. The related comparisons help narrow the shortlist to two options.
Frequently asked questions
Is the first exchange the cheapest?
No. Bybit, LBank and BTCC occupy the first positions under the priority explained in Transparency. Cost depends on the product, pair, tier and funding movements. The table lets you compare terms without turning that order into a promise of lower prices.
Does the spot rate also apply to futures?
No. Futures have their own execution fees and can add funding payments. Read the specific review sections and the spot-versus-futures guide to compare the trade you need.
What should I check before transferring crypto?
Check that the withdrawal and deposit asset and network match, along with the minimum and fee. The trading rate does not necessarily include the network transfer. The transfer guide explains the workflow and how to avoid choosing an incompatible network.
